How we approach every service
Regardless of the service tier, the same discipline applies: assess before committing, agree before proceeding, verify before returning. Each stage has a purpose. The assessment prevents unnecessary work. The agreement gives the owner control. The verification on the timing bench makes certain the result is what was intended.
The service tiers differ in their depth, not their approach. An Everyday Tune-Up is carried out with the same care as an overhaul — it simply covers less ground because the watch requires less ground to cover.

Service 01
Everyday Watch Tune-Up
A light, careful check for watches worn regularly. We assess timekeeping, clean the exterior, replace the battery for quartz pieces or wind and observe mechanical ones, and check the seals for daily wear. A good fit for owners who simply want their watch reliable again without a full overhaul. Turnaround is usually a few working days, and we let you know if anything more is worth attending to.

Best suited for
Watches worn day-to-day that have not been checked in twelve to eighteen months. Also suitable for a recently acquired second-hand watch that needs a baseline check before regular use.
Best suited for
Inherited watches, pieces acquired at auction or from a private seller, and older mechanical or automatic watches that have been sitting unworn. Works on watches where the character of the dial and case is part of what you value.
Service 02
Vintage Care Session
A considerate service for older watches that ask for a gentler approach. We clean and lubricate the movement, tend to worn seals, and address small cosmetic concerns while preserving the piece's natural patina. Suited to inherited or long-loved watches where character matters as much as function. We discuss the scope with you first so the work matches your wishes.

Service 03
Full Studio Overhaul
A thorough, patient overhaul for pieces that have gone a long while without care or that carry added complications. The work includes complete disassembly, cleaning, part replacement where sensible, resealing, and a settling period on the timing bench before the watch comes home. Best for watches you rely on for years to come. Every stage is explained, and the timepiece is returned only once it runs steadily.

Standards
Protocols that apply across all services
These are not extras — they are the baseline for every piece that comes into the studio.
Condition photographed on arrival
Every watch is photographed before we begin. This record protects both owner and studio and forms the baseline for any subsequent discussion.
Calibre-specific lubricants
We use the appropriate lubricant grade for each movement type and application point. The wrong lubricant applied correctly is still the wrong lubricant.
Written agreement before work starts
A brief written summary of the proposed scope and price is sent to you for confirmation. Nothing proceeds without your reply.
Secure handling and storage
Watches in service are kept in the studio's secure storage. They are handled only by the watchmakers working on them and logged in and out of the care ledger.
Progress updates on longer work
For Vintage Care and Overhaul services, we send a brief update once the movement has been assessed and again once the bench period begins.
Honest about what we cannot do
Some movements fall outside our scope. When that is the case, we say so clearly and return the watch in its received condition, suggesting an alternative where we can.
